All my blocks

Open Source On Github

It’s long overdue, but I’ve recently set up a richtabor/blocks repository on Github that links to the source code for the WordPress blocks that I currently have published — including a few that are yet to be available on

Every single block I’ve added, I built out of a need of my own. I wanted to be able to add a simple publishing checklist to posts, so I created the Todo List block. And I like to leave editor notes throughout my posts with the Markdown comment block, so I don’t forget things.

I also wanted a simple block for adding click to tweet components — so I built a new Share on Twitter block. And I use the Post Reading Time and Post Modified Time blocks on my blog to help folks understand the time commitment to read a post, and also let you know when I’ve last updated something — as we know things move fast these days.

Anyhow, feel free to pick them apart, learn what you can, open issues, suggest features, etc — they’re all ours. If you like what you see, I’d love to hear about it on Twitter.
